Murder, mystery and mayhem with Central Bedfordshire libraries
Thursday, 28 October 2021
Join our libraries this November for their very first Crime Literary Festival as they go crime crazy with competitions, quizzes, reading challenges and author events.
The festival will include lots of fun activities and events all linked to crime capers and suspense stories. There will be competitions, quizzes and reading challenges for adults in libraries with lots of opportunities to win goodies, meet popular crime authors and get books signed.
So, whether you enjoy a good psychological thriller, a classic whodunit or you are keen to try something new, there will be plenty of things of interest.

Councillor Ian Dalgarno, our Executive Member for Community Services, said:
We are delighted to have so many great authors joining us for our Crime Literary Festival.
It’s a wonderful opportunity for residents to meet some of our local authors and get involved in some exciting competitions, quizzes and reading challenges. We hope the events encourage new residents to experience our libraries and inspires more people to enjoy a good book.
