2019 Executive Members for Central Bedfordshire Council confirmed

Central Bedfordshire Council has held its first full Council meeting since the 2 May elections.
Councillor James Jamieson confirmed s its returning Leader, along with a newly configured Executive.
The membership of the new Executive and designation of responsibilities is as follows:
Councillor Richard Wenham continues in the role of Deputy Leader of the Council and as the Executive Member for Corporate Resources.
Councillor Ian Dalgarno remains Executive Member for Community Services with Councillor Steven Watkins and Councillor Brian Spurr as deputies.
Councillor Tracey Stock becomes the Executive Member for Health & Wellbeing and Communities with Councillor Brian Spurr as deputy.
Councillor Sue Clark takes on the portfolio for Families, Education and Children as Executive Member and Councillor Amanda Dodwell remains as the deputy.
Councillor Carole Hegley continues as Executive Member for Adults, Social Care and Housing Operations (HRA).
Councillor Eugene Ghent continues as Executive Member for Assets and Housing Delivery.
Councillor Kevin Collins takes on the role of Executive Member for Planning and Regeneration.
Councillor Steven Dixon takes on a new portfolio as Executive Member for Transformation and External Relations.
Councillor Nigel Young becomes the Executive Member for Highways Delivery and Innovation.
During the full Council meeting, it was also confirmed that Councillor Adam Zerny would lead the Independent Network and Councillor Peter Snelling would be the leader of the Liberal Democrat group on the Council.
