Last chance to have your say on priorities for adult social care services

Friday, 3 May 2024

There is 1 week left for residents to share their views on our five-year plan for adult social care.

Residents are asked to comment on our vision for adult social care, the key priorities and how these will be delivered in the future.

The draft strategy sets out the challenges facing adult social care both locally and nationally and how these will be tackled.

Councillor Mark Smith, our Executive Member for Adult Social Care, said:

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to share your views on how we plan to meet the demands of adult social care in the future. We want to hear from everyone not just those who currently use adult social care services but from those who may have a future need or who have loved ones who use the service.

We also want to hear from unpaid carers and organisations in the voluntary and community sector to help ensure our strategy meets the needs of everyone and that we are focused on what matters most to them.
