Countryside volunteers

Volunteering in our countryside

There are many ways to get involved with your local countryside.

You could volunteer with a local friends group that organises practical conservation action days at a number of countryside spaces across Central Bedfordshire. Or you could join a local P3 (People, Projects and Partnerships) group to help improve access to the public rights of way network in your local area.

If you would like to know more about these and other ways to get involved, please let us know.

Alternatively, you can become a volunteer with one or more of our local partners that offer a range of opportunities including practical conservation tasks and helping visitors to get the most out of their visit to the countryside. Find out more about volunteering opportunities by visiting their websites below.
