List of parish schedules for our Leisure Strategy
To show how the Leisure Strategy standards apply to local provision, we’ve created a parish schedule for each settlement or group of settlements in Central Bedfordshire. Each parish schedule lists the sites within the nine categories of recreational open space assessed in the Recreational Open Space Strategy. It shows the open space standards in terms of current and future requirements and includes the needs and issues which were highlighted when the strategy was written.
The schedules also show outdoor sporting sites and facilities identified in the Playing Pitch Strategy. The outdoor sports facility projects are detailed in the Outdoor Sport Priority Project List.
This detailed local information provides a picture of the green space and outdoor sporting infrastructure in Central Bedfordshire and enables us to help safeguard current facilities and address current and future demands.
