Keeping libraries open during adverse weather
We try and keep our libraries open to the public throughout the year, but need to keep the health and safety of both staff and customers in mind, particularly during the winter months. Sometimes our libraries may have to close at short notice due to bad weather conditions e.g. snow or ice causing slippery surfaces near library entrances. We will update this page if we need to close a library, plus post messages on Facebook and Twitter.
