After your application to rent a garage
What usually happens when you rent a garage
Some areas are very popular and have a long waiting list.
Once an application has been received and accepted, you will be offered the next available garage within the area you have requested.
Signing of tenancy agreement
If you accept the garage offered to you, you will need to sign a contract and will be offered an appointment.
Proof of identity / address
We will need to see the following documents:
- proof of identity: for example, a driving licence / passport
- proof of address: for example, your current Council Tax bill
Along with your ID, we currently require a month's payment in advance, which is £50.40 for council tenants and £60.40 for non-council tenants.

Future payments will be discussed at your appointment.
Your garage keys will be available after you have signed the contract. The contract will start on a Monday, and you will be charged weekly on a Monday thereafter.
