Pay for minerals and waste planning applications

Whilst it is not yet possible to submit applications for new mineral permission through the Planning Portal, all other applications for amending existing mineral permissions can be made using the standard Planning Portal forms. All waste applications can also be made through the Planning Portal.

Apply for planning permission for mineral extraction
How to pay
On the payments page:
- select 'Miscellaneous'
- then choose 'Planning'
- choose type of application you are applying for (please see the fees schedule (PDF 46.2KB)
for the online payment reference related to the type of application you are submitting) - in the message box field of the payment form (this information is crucial for matching the payment with the application), please enter:
- the site address
- planning portal reference number or case reference number (if known)
