The Planning Delivery team achieves the Customer Excellence Standard

Customer Service Excellence

 

We are pleased to announce that our Planning Delivery team have achieved the Customer Excellence Standard, which recognises good practice, showing that the team provide an efficient and customer focused planning service that delivers sustainable growth.

The Customer Service Excellence Standard is an independent validation of achievement backed by the Cabinet Office. The Certification is widely used across public services in the UK, but there are very few Local Authority teams who have achieved and maintained the requirements of the Standard.

The process included, implementing service improvements, providing evidence for a comprehensive self-assessment, staff and customer surveys, rounded off with a day of staff and customer interviews with the independent assessor.  

This assessment allows us to proudly bear the Customer Service Excellence logo on our website. You can also view or download the full comprehensive feedback report

Head of Planning Delivery:

We wanted to build on the service we were already providing to ensure our users and staff alike, had a service to be proud of. As well as highlighting the team’s achievements, the Standard will help us to develop further and deliver even better performance and service delivery outcomes for all. I’m so proud of the team for working together to achieve the Standard – it really shows the amazing work they do’.
