Parents and carers have a vital role to play in the education of children in care and will work closely with the child’s school / setting to ensure children in care have access to appropriate learning and are encouraged to learn to reach their full potential.
From taking an interest and supporting children with their homework, valuing education and helping children attend school, and advocating for the child’s individual needs, the role of carers is vital.
