Health and Wellbeing Board - meetings and agendas

Our Health and Wellbeing Board is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of local communities and reducing inequalities across Central Bedfordshire.

The Health and Social Care Act 2012 established Health and Wellbeing Boards to bring together the NHS, public health, adult social care and children’s services and other partners to plan how best to meet the needs of their local population and tackle local inequalities in health.

The Health and Care Act 2022 established new NHS bodies called Integrated Care Boards, which replaced CCGs and required the creation of Integrated Care Partnerships in each local system area. The HWB has incorporated the new NHS arrangements into its membership.
