Engagement surveys and drop-in events

Your Voice Matters

We want your views to help shape what we do. Sometimes we'll ask you for your feedback about a service or ideas for improving or changing a service through an engagement survey. Our live engagement surveys are below.

To ensure wide participation in our surveys and consultations, particularly when the topic matter is complex, we offer ‘in-person drop-in’ events and online webinars so that residents and stakeholders can meet the team, find out more about the subject, ask questions, and seek clarification before completing and submitting their response.

Times, dates, and locations for these events are published with the survey/consultation. Bookings and email addresses are required (so we know who to send the link to) for the online events that are held on MS Teams. You can drop into the in-person events at any time during the published times. We try to arrange the sessions at different times (daytime and evening) to suit people's availability. Please check the Engagement Surveys page for information about events and webinars.

Creating great places to live – new Local Plan

We want to develop a plan that delivers the best for you. We are at the start of this process, and we need to hear your thoughts now, so that you can shape how we develop the Local Plan.

Local Cycle and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIPs) - rural

Engagement period opened: 10am on Monday 12 August 2024
Engagement period closes: Monday 23 September 2024

We're asking for ideas on how to improve roads, paths and walkways to make it easier and safer to walk, wheel and cycle in rural areas. Input at this stage will help shape a draft LCWIP for rural areas that will then go for formal consultation next year.
