Community engagement
The Central Bedfordshire Community Engagement Strategy (CES) 2013-16 ensures that we have a strategic and coordinated partnership approach to community engagement.
The strategy is concise and user friendly, and is based on 5 key principles.
These principles reflect local priorities, and the emphasis is on working together with communities to tackle local issues, share information, and develop a better understanding through community insight.
It includes links to information on community engagement activity.
Our CES ensures that engagement with our communities is at the heart of everything we do, helping to make sure we can provide great services for our residents.

Community Engagement Network (CEN)
CEN meetings are held twice a year, and are a network for all council staff and partners who engage with communities. The network is an essential tool in sharing experiences and best practice, and provide additional opportunities to work together.
Leighton Linslade Community Forum (LLCF)
Where there is a need for a more in depth conversation on specific issues concerning communities in Leighton Linslade, the LLCF organises community events on behalf of the Leighton Linslade Partnership Committee.
