Bedfordshire Employment and Skills Academy works with local nurseries and pre-schools to bring you this fantastic opportunity to learn what it’s like to work in an early years setting.
The Introduction to Working in Early Years Settings course is delivered over 6 sessions. You'll:
- learn about the role of the early years practitioner and how early years settings operate
- undertake practical activities to help you understand how different types of play support a child’s development
- complete a voluntary placement in the nursery so that you can get some hands-on experience
