Bins (refuse, recycling and food waste)
If you don't currently have a refuse, recycling bin or food waste bin, please order one using the appropriate link below. Deliveries can take up to 10 working days.
My bin is missing or damaged
Please check with your neighbours first to see if they have taken your bin by mistake.
We recommend that you wait 72 hours before reporting a missing bin. If you can't find the bin then you may order a replacement below.
It is advisable to mark all of your bins with your property name or number to easily identify them.
We reserve the right to charge for replacement of general waste, recycling or food waste bins in some circumstances.
Garden waste
- 240 litre – (subject to subscription to the garden waste collection service). We reserve the right to charge for replacement of these bins in some circumstances
If you need a different size bin
If you have an ongoing requirement for more or less bin capacity, please let us know. All bin replacements are subject to approval from one of our environmental service officers.

Food waste bags
We have phased out our free food waste bags in favour of more environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternatives.
Instead of supplying food waste bags, we're suggesting alternative ways to store and manage your food waste that are focused on reusing bags and therefore better for the environment than providing the single-use non-compostable bags that we've phased out.
Pink refuse sacks (for sack collection properties only)
If you do not have access to a bin and require more pink domestic refuse sacks, you can order them here. There is no charge for this. Deliveries can take up to 10 working days.
Orange recycling sacks (for sack collection properties only)
If you do not have access to a bin and require more orange recycling sacks, you can order them here. There is no charge for this. Deliveries can take up to 10 working days.
Removing bins
If you need us to remove a spare or abandoned bin, let us know.
If you have been provided with a reason why your bin or sack request was declined, and you wish to dispute the reason provided, please complete the below form. You will have the opportunity to upload any evidence (photos) should you have it. This information will be passed to an Environment Services Officer who will review it.
