Quality assurance for our Jigsaw Service
As an alternative provision, supporting young children, we have a responsibility to quality assure the service making sure the child is safe, learning and achieving.
We carry out a series of questionnaires and surveys as a method of quality assuring the work we do and the impact we make.
There is close monitoring of the outcomes for students after support has been provided.
Regular meetings and discussions are undertaken to support the child, schools and parents.
As part of our quality assurance process, the lead members of the service meet termly with a panel of professionals from our special educational needs team, educational psychology service, head teachers of schools and alternative provisions within Central Bedfordshire. Within these meetings we look at the cases supported by the Jigsaw Service and how we can adapt the service to further support the needs of the schools and young people within Central Bedfordshire, including the sharing of good practices and successes we have had.
