Support for your wellbeing
To help our residents stay healthy, we have lots of general well-being advice and information for adults and older people, including how to avoid trips and falls and manage their general well-being. Visit our webpage to find out more about health and social care.
Several organisations within Bedfordshire can also provide practical and emotional support to support your well-being.
Your Wellbeing Bedfordshire can help connect you with a local group or activity if you’re feeling isolated or lonely. It can also offer one-to-one support through its community wellbeing champions, who can help you make positive changes to take control of your health and well-being. Visit Your Wellbeing Bedfordshire's website to find out more.
With Bedford Borough Council, we work with Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity (BRCC) to deliver social prescribing that can help you make positive changes to take control of your health and well-being. Find out more about free, personalised, support on BRCC's website. The team contains community wellbeing champions who can help you connect with your local community, enable you to be more active and support your wellbeing. BRCC has been working in Bedfordshire’s communities for 60 years, to help develop communities. Visit BRCC's website to find out more and get in touch if you need support.
