Meet Sharai and find out about her fostering experience
Sharai is an intensive support foster carer for Central Bedfordshire, she cares for youngsters who have more complex needs. Sharai explains that fostering is giving a child another side of life, a brighter side of life. She told us that part of what she loves about being an intensive support foster carer is that you can see the results from the young person you look after. We asked her why she would recommend intensive support fostering to others.
I enjoy a challenge. Each child has their own unique needs and challenges. Foster parenting is a powerful way to lift up the heads of children and show them that there is hope for the future. Being a foster parent means you can share your home, your family, your friends and give time and attention to a worthwhile cause.
