A to Z of recycling - Aluminium tube

Metal or aluminium tubes, such as tomato puree or hand cream tubes, cannot be recycled at home and should be placed in your household black bin. 
Plastic and aluminium tubes are often too heavily contaminated inside with food, toothpaste or other skin care products to be recycled. 
Consider swapping aluminium tubes for a recyclable alternative such as food sauces and pastes and skincare products that come in glass or plastic bottles and jars.
