A to Z of recycling - Loft insulation

Old loft insulation is only accepted at the Household Waste Recycling Centres if you are re-insulating the loft yourself.

If a contractor has done this for you, then it is classed as commercial waste and must be treated as such.

Please ensure the material is wrapped up securely, and must not contain or be suspected to contain any asbestos.
