Glass can be recycled indefinitely without compromising quality. It takes less energy to recycle glass than to melt down the original raw materials.

You can recycle glass at many locations across Central Bedfordshire. If you live within a village in the south of the district then we do collect glass from the kerbside.

Recycling facilities can also be found at many supermarkets, and at Household Waste Recycling Centres.

Please do not place pyrex or sheet glass in your kerbside recycling box or in the glass recycling bank.
