Multiply maths workshops - Cutting Costs in the Kitchen (Parkside Drive, Houghton Regis - October 2024)

This course is designed for those who want to understand how to make the food they’ve bought go further.

This course will support you to:

• find quick and easy recipes to cook at a low cost 
• confidently plan menus, and understand nutrition and portioning 
• batch cook, use leftovers and understand food safety (Best Before and Use By dates) 
• compare nutrients and costs of homemade and pre-packaged food 
• understand conversion and ratios to help with scaling recipes to fit your household 

You will receive a £30 supermarket e-voucher for completing this course (subject to meeting funing criteria).
This course if free for adults aged 19 years and over in Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough.
