A to Z of recycling - Plastic food containers

Takeaway containers can be placed loose in your dry recycling (green / orange lidded) bin at home, if they are clean and dry. Please be aware thicker plastic boxes such as Tupperware cannot be recycled and should be placed in your black household waste bin at home.
