A to Z of recycling - Vapes (disposable)

Disposable vapes are made of multiple materials and cannot be recycled via your kerbside bin as they contain a small battery which can cause fires, and nicotine which is a hazardous waste. 

Please don't put vapes in any of your bins at home. They also can't be collected through our small electricals or batteries kerbside collections. If you have some disposable vapes that you wih to dispose of then please take them to your nearest Household Waste Recycling Centre (Tidy tip) and place within the dedicated vape container.
