Rushmere Country Park features over 400 acres of woodland, heathland and meadows to enjoy. There are many walks and trails to enjoy, including the nature rubbing, sculpture and heathland trails. The Tree Tops Restaurant and Deck serves breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks, cake and ice cream - with a view!
Admission free.
The Greensand Trust and Central Bedfordshire Council purchased Rushmere Park in September 2009, linking existing Stockgrove Country Park and Oak Wood to create a 210 hectare resource. Rushmere is situated at the western tip of the Greensand Ridge, an elevated feature that runs across Central Bedfordshire and is recognised as an area of high landscape value.
