Why We Need This Information?
Central Bedfordshire Council will use the information collected on this form to fulfil safeguarding requirements as defined by the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework.
Who do we share this information with?
Information will be shared within and restricted to the Bedfordshire Employment and Skills Service (BESA) designated safeguarding team. Information may also be shared with other local authority services to meet safeguarding regislation requirements to keep children and vulnerable adults safe.
How the law allows us to use this personal information
Central Bedfordshire Council will process the information on the basis that it is necessary for us to fulfil our statutory duties. We do not normally ask for ‘Special category data’ (information which reveals racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, trade union membership, religious or philosophical beliefs, health or sexual orientation or genetic or biometric data) however if any such information is included this will be processed on the basis that is necessary for statutory and government purposes.
How long will information be kept?
Information will be held in accordance with funding guidelines.
