The Draft Local Plan consultation is open for feedback from 10am 4 July to 5pm 29 August 2017. This is a guide on how to make comments (PDF 1.3MB) .
You can read and make comments (or representations) on:
- the full Draft Local Plan
- supporting technical documents
- the site assessments
You can read all of the documents without registering or logging in but you will need to register or log in to make any comments (representations).
All comments (representations) will be published in full after the consultation has closed, therefore please do not submit any personal information such as your address in your comments.
You can also download a copy of the full Draft Local Plan (PDF 6.6MB) and send your comments in writing to:
Central Bedfordshire Council
During the consultation we will be holding a number of drop-in-sessions for members of the public to talk to us and ask questions; there’s no need to book, just come along.
All public drop-in sessions will be open from 2pm – 8pm.

What happens next?
We will consider all of the comments we receive and publish the next iteration of the Local Plan (pre-submission plan) for comment in spring 2018.
From late 2017 to early 2018, we will be running another series of Community Planning events across Central Bedfordshire. Details will be published nearer the time.
