Meals support (also called meals on wheels)
The hot meal support service that was provided in Central Bedfordshire has changed. Despite exhausting all options, the contract we had in place with Apetito Ltd to deliver a hot meals service (meals on wheels) ended on 31 March 2023.
All residents who were in receipt of this service have been contacted individually to discuss alternative arrangements from 1 April 2023 onwards and any support they may need.
If you have difficulty preparing a main meal from scratch there are frozen meals services you can consider, if you are able to use an oven or microwave.
